If you fill in our free audit form, we collect the information you type into it: your name, business name, website or Google listing, email address, phone number, trade, service area, and whatever you tell us about your current marketing and your goals. That is all of it. We do not buy lists or collect data about you from third parties.
We use it for one purpose: to prepare the free audit you asked for and to contact you about it. That means emailing you the audit, and following up by email or phone to see whether you want to talk it through. If you become a client, we use the same details to run your account.
By submitting the audit form you consent to us contacting you about your audit, as required under Canada’s anti-spam legislation (CASL). That consent is yours to withdraw at any time. Reply “unsubscribe” to any email, or write to [email protected], and we will stop. No friction, no retention offers.
We do not sell, rent or trade your information. Ever. Your form submission is delivered to our inbox through a third-party form service, and our email is handled by a standard email provider; both see the data only in order to deliver it to us. If we ever manage advertising or a Google Business Profile on your behalf, that happens inside your own accounts, which you own.
If you request an audit and do not become a client, we keep your details for up to two years in case you come back, then delete them. Client records are kept as long as the working relationship lasts, plus the period Canadian tax and business record rules require.
You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email [email protected] and we will respond within 30 days, as required under Canadian privacy law (PIPEDA and BC’s PIPA).
When you first visit, we ask whether you accept cookies. If you decline, the site sets no advertising or tracking cookies and loads nothing from third parties except web fonts.
If you accept, we load the Meta Pixel from Meta Platforms (Facebook and Instagram). It sets a cookie and tells Meta which pages you viewed and whether you requested an audit, so we can measure our ads, show them to the right people, and stop wasting money on ads that do not work. You can change your mind at any time: clear this site’s cookies in your browser, or use your browser’s Do Not Track / cookie controls. Declining does not affect your ability to request an audit.
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page.
